When Wendy and Trygve got the engagement ring, they had about an hour to kill while the stone was being set and the ring was sized. They wandered across the parking lot to a Toys 'R' Us, and in the stuffed animal section, they found Gage. Gage became Wendy's engagement rabbit. He is exceptionally dear to her, and she started taking pictures of him when she would go places. Pretty soon, it became clear that if Gage was going to go places, he should have a blog to tell people about his adventures. Gage has gone from a cute, time killing gesture of affection to having a life and blog of his own. He's a very special rabbit, and while he remains a reminder to Wendy of how much Trygve loves her and puts up with her weirdness, he's also become an expressive, opinionated little adventurer.
